Ecclestone: Vettel a true champion

– F1 supremo Bernie Ecclestone has said he was not surprised Sebastian Vettel won the F1 drivers’ title for a fourth time in 2013 as the Red Bull Racing man ‘has qualities others do not possess’. Speaking in a recent interview with Italian newspaper, La Gazzetta dello Sport, Ecclestone added that Vettel grew a lot last season. “No, because Sebastian has qualities that others do not possess and he full deserved it,” Bernie replied when asked if Vettel’s 2013 title success was a surprise or not. “You do not only have to look at what he did on the track, but also the way in which he has been able to motivate the team, the skill with which he was able to adapt the car and...
