Audi announced first member of its driver development programme

F1 Grand Prix, GP Brazil, Autódromo José Carlos Pace, Interlagos Audi F1 Team has officially named Freddie Slater as the inaugural member of its newly launched Driver Development Programme, marking a major milestone in the manufacturer’s long‑term Formula One project. The announcement confirms that the highly rated British talent will compete in the 2026 FIA Formula 3 Championship with TRIDENT, beginning his first season at this level with factory‑backed support.
